The Story Behind CTR Rings

A small ring. Three little letters. A daily question that follows you for life.

If you've ever met a child raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you've probably seen one — a little ring on a small finger, shaped like a shield, with three letters stamped into it:

C · T · RChoose The Right

The CTR ring was introduced in the early 1970s by the Primary — the children's organization of the Church — as a simple, daily, visual reminder that the choices we make matter.

At first, it was for the kids. But adults started wearing them too. Then missionaries. Then grandparents. Today CTR rings come in stainless steel, gold, leather, glow-in-the-dark — but the message has never changed:

When you see this ring, ask yourself one question: am I choosing the right?

That's the magic of a symbol you wear. It doesn't preach at you. It just sits there on your finger, quiet, while you go about your day. And then a moment comes — a hard decision, a tempting shortcut, a chance to lash out or stay calm — and you catch a glimpse of those three letters. And you remember.

Choose the right.

That's exactly what our Forever Bracelet is for. Not preaching. Not noise. Just a quiet reminder, on your wrist, that some choices echo into forever. That love is always the right answer. That God's still working. That the game is not over.

Symbols don't save us. But they sure do help us remember Who does. ♥
